Up

Alsobias are an extremely easy to grow and bloom member of the Gesneriad family.  Formerly classifed as part of the Episcia genus, it shares a similar growth habit.

Alsobias grow like a strawberry plant, producing lots of lush green foliage on stolons   This makes for a lovely, full, plant even when not in bloom.  Being very tolerant of neglect, they are great for the novice!
