tamiana. This adorable little species will soon be grown by everyone who grows houseplants. Only recently in cultivation, it's perhaps the easiest to grow and bloom gesneriad one could have. An absolute must-have! Tiny, white blooms are striped purple in throat. Very small, miniature grower and very free bloomer. $5.00 sp. 'Viet Nam'. (usbrg #98-083) Another species very new to cultivation, this is another of our very favorites. Long, narrow, pointed leaves have soft, velvet-like texture. Foliage forms a perfect rosette and produces lots of graceful stolons, at the end of which appear more plants!
