We love plants! We'll grow almost anything that will grow in our
environment, and are constantly searching for unusual, but easy to grow
plants. Since growing plants is a much of a lifestyle choice for us as it
is a business, we grow as much for fun as we do for profit. This means
that we grow a lot of plants just because we think they're pretty, unusual, or
pose that special challenge.
We grow a number of other exotic houseplants,
many of which are related to African violets (gesneriads). Most of these
will bloom, and all can be grown in the home, given moderate attention to their
needs. The easiest to grow are listed in these pages. If you come to
visit our shop and greenhouse, you'll have an opportunity to see many of the
unusual, exotic, plants that we grow.

Begonias.
A wide selection of small
growing, tropical begonias for the indoor garden.
We specialize in small and miniature growers for the indoor garden or
windowsill. All will flower, but it's their beautiful leaves that make
them unique.
Hoya.
Almost neglect-proof plants for the window with fragrant blooms. Great
plants for the "black-thumb" that can't seem to keep anything alive.
Nearly-indestructible plants with very beautiful, often fragrant blooms
and thick, waxy, leaves.
Miniature
houseplants. Very small growing tropical houseplants, suitable for use
in small containers, dish gardens, or terrariums. Unlike what's found at
your local garden center, these are not larger plants just "pruned back" to look
small. These are truly miniature growing houseplants, that stay
small-leaved and are perfect for small spaces.
