Indefatigable Grower -- most agreeable among the episcias

This cultivar is one of the more amazing among the episcias, and I have grown this plant for decades. During one winter, I decided to divide up a very large 12 inch hanging pot of this episcia. After the division, one specimen appeared to die off, and, positive that it had died, I emptied its pot contents in the foundation garden behind our back door. I live in Zone 7, or a bit south of Memphis. Lo and behold, the following spring, the discarded specimen of this episcia began growing back outside in this garden and already had flowered by the time that it was discovered! I immediately dug it up and brought it back inside to be potted. Never underestimate this one! Highly recommended for persons who will take the extra care needed to grow episcias, but who also may neglect them from time to time.

Came in with 2 buds!

Specimen came in last week with 2 small buds which are currently getting larger are seem to be about to open. One of my first 2 episcia plants. Very striking foliage, rich and complex colors. They were shipped in February and both arrived with minor browning on several leaf ends, either from cold or handling. This was understandable and perfectly acceptable. Both plants seem to be shrugging this off and growing strong. Eager to see the blooms open.

One of my favorites!

I love episcias and I grow a lot of varieties. This one is definitely a favorite of mine. The picture doesn't really do it justice, and so far is one of the most vigorous episcias I've grown. I highly recommend it!!!!!

Easy

This episcia is super easy to grow and bloom-probably the easiest of them all. A must have for your collection. Why not grab one for a friend too.
