Lovely
Received a healthy rooted cutting. The plant is now starting to take off, with new growth. Loving this hoya so far, looking forward to when it blooms.
Nice mid-sized easy-going australis
I have 11 different varieties of Hoya australis and 'Lizard Isle' is most similar to tenuipes. It has nice mid-sized leaves, not as broad as some australis leaves can get, and moderately succulent. It is very tolerant of drought. This particular plant has not been the fastest australis to bloom for me, but when this species does mature to blooming size it tends to be very generous and blooms like clockwork, with a lovely strong, spicy-sweet perfume. Also, this is the only known source of Lizard Isle in the Hoya community, and I'm quite curious where Violet Barn obtained theirs.
