Precious red mini african violet
I received the plant in good condition despite cold weather. It started to bloom and has maintained a compact habit. It is doing well especially in an open terrarium- like shelf greenhouse. Very pleased with it's progress so far. Unfortunately, it is not blooming now along with my other violets because the weather is very hot
Goth Violet
Beautiful dark green foliage and deep red flowers, has an almost goth vibe! Arrived very healthy and already in bloom.
One of the minis
This is one of my all time favorite minis. I received a blue ribbon at show for this.
Gorgeous deep red!
What a gorgeous red. Rich velvety red. The plant is symmetrical in shape with pretty oval shaped leaves. I wish I could add a photo to show how lovely this semi violet is.
Velvet Red
I have wanted a pretty deep red AV to add to my collection, so I ordered this AV based on the photo. The flowers looked like they would be a deep red color. I have given this plant 5 stars because indeed, the blossoms are a lovely deep velvet red. I want to stroke the petals to feel the velvet they are so beautiful. The plant remains true to being a miniature AV with a beautiful crown of dark green foliage. The leaves are velvety looking and have a more elongated shape. And to my delight this AV has been in bloom for months. What a perfect Red to add to any collection.

Lovely
I just received this little lovely a few weeks ago. The foliage growth is happening quickly. I can't wait for the Precious Red blooms! This was part of my very first order from Violet barn. I am impressed with the care in packaging and the plants arrived healthy and beautiful!
Precious Red is PRECIOUS!
This adorable, tiny mini has beautiful form with very dark green leaves. Mine has just started blooming again and the flowers are a beautiful red! I would highly recommend this beautiful mini African violet. The Violet Barn always sends their African violets perfectly packaged. I have ordered many plants from them over the years and every one comes in good condition.

True Miniature - Beautiful Form
This may be my favorite miniature violet. It is hardy, has beautiful form with minimal attention. The blooms are a true red and profuse. This plant is a gem in any collection.

Beautiful
There aren't very many red mini african violets that bloom often and profusely with nice foliage. I grew this plant for a time, and then when I moved it got exposed to freezing temperatures and died. After growing many other red minis, I've missed this one! It's such a fantastic plant!! Highly recommend.
3rd mini purchase
This is my 3rd mini that I've purchased now from here, and of course packaging was impeccable. No blooms yet but still a cute tiny AV!!

tiny leaves
This mini violet is very pretty and very tiny. Be careful repotting it as the stems are fragile.
A very profuse bloomer!
This is one of my first true miniatures. It lives in my kitchen windowsill and blooms like crazy. I definitely get a lot of compliments on it because it's always in bloom when people come over. The leaves stay tiny, true to form. You don't have to "train" it to be miniature. I'd recommend this mini as a staple in any miniature collection.
A must have mini
Great little plant, the symmetry is easy to achieve, the blossom count is heavy & the color is a pretty red. A must have mini!
Georgeous Little plant
The photo doesn't do this one Justice. I live in Toronto so growing these Pittman varieties isn't always easy with the colder climate. And this one has taken me a good amount of time to grow on but it was well worth the wait. Such a beautiful plant and is just loaded with blooms. based on my experience not for the first time grower, but a definite show stopper once you have a little experience!!
Great Bloomer
I was getting back into African violets, and I had my new lights too close. I bleached the leaves on this one a little, but once I corrected the situation, to quote the person above, this little plant got down to business and bloomed and bloomed. I really enjoy it.
Super Easy!
This is definitely in my top five of the best reds. When I first started growing African Violets, I made a lot of mistakes and definitely killed several plants, but this plant not only stayed alive, but bloomed and bloomed! When I put down leaves of this plant, it tends to be the first to grow into a full size plant and get busy blooming. I just love this variety so much. Unfortunately, this is not a good picture of this plant, I have seen much much better photos. The blooms tend to be fuller, rose-like. The foliage also is really really cute and extremely tidy. I just can't say enough about this variety!
Real show plant
This plant almost grows itself. Great symmetry, dark foliage and an easy bloomer. I won Best in Class with Precious Red.
