Very Healthy Plant
Plant came in excellent condition and has buds. I can't wait to see it bloom. Also, Rob has been very helpful in answering my novice questions.
It's Just Amazing
I went through the whole registration process just to give a shout out for this awesome little violet. I have had it for I guess about five months now, and realized this morning, as I appreciated its glow against the winter sky, that it has not been out of bloom longer than a few days during that entire period. And by bloom I mean explosion. Today it has fourteen flowers in full bloom, five or six almost ready to open, and several little baby branches still partly hidden under the leaves, coming up for the next round. And it's been like that steadily ever since it came to live on the high shelf in my big east window. I know nothing about violets, I give them the recommended food and try not to overwater, and I don't know if east light is the best for them, but this little girl gives her all with my minimal and ignorant care. I don't know how anybody could give her less than five stars.
Robust and Beautiful
This one is shaping up to be one of my most promising show plants so far. The symmetry is filling in nicely with good sturdy petioles and it is a prolific bloomer. I have noticed that the bloom color is temperature sensitive, becoming almost all pink in the summer warmth. The blossoms also seem to be a bit short lived but they are produced in abundance and are held high above the leaves. A strong and happy plant I would recommend to anyone.
Such a happy plant
Beautiful dark green folage, with large blossoms, this Russian standard was sent with a Christmas gift to round out the order. I love it. Easy to care for and lots of blooms. I highly recommend this one. If it gets too dry, it easily rebounds when watered.
