I Purchased last year, and sadly it didnt make the winter in my apartment. Im prepared to give it better conditions this time. Only reason for 4 stars is because the plant i received was so small, im not sure i ever received a plant in the mail that immature. It was in a 2” pot (as expected) but was only one leaf with a new leaf emerging. Im hoping this next specimen I get is a little bit more mature.
Pictures don’t do the Black Fang justice
This is a gorgeous begonia with leaves that look like velvet. It is mesmerizing. The plant itself came healthy and well packaged.

My Favorite of All My Plants
I bought this gorgeous thing from The Violet Barn a year ago. I love the shape of the leaves and their greenish black color with a satin sheen! That sheen cannot be captured in a picture, but I enjoy looking at it every day as Black Fang occupies a prime location on my plant shelves!
Better than expected!
I received my plants a few weeks ago and was VERY impressed at the care taken with their shipping! This little beauty is even more beautiful than the pictures give credit, it is stunning! ...I can't wait to receive my next shipment!
Great Gift
This plant was in a group of the assortment that I'd sent to my mother several years ago. She kept the names on the tags in each plant and the grand- daughters would check them each time they came to visit. It's really been a delightful experience to see the plants mature.
Black Fang!
I've had this plant for a year now & I always get great comments on it because it is so unusual. The leaves are a velvety burgandy black swirl. The leaves tend to get large, so it could be grown as a larger plant, but I prefer to keep mine smaller, which is very easy. A very distinct, pretty plant.
