I have a sport of the Edge of Darkness. It’s a nice plant, but I want to have a true to the description plant. Taking my chances with this purchase

Stunning violet
One of my first violets Very beautiful dark purple flowers with a white edge. The leaves are also pretty, dark green with lighter green veins. Stunning in person. Mine has just started blooming.
Gorgeous Plant
I love this plant for its beautiful blooms!. The flowers start out extremely dark purple (almost black) with a crisp white Geneva edge which makes the flower look like its glowing. Easy grower and great bloomer. Just an amazing plant.
Beautiful flowers, huge rosette
This is my first less than perfect reviews on AV I bought from Violet Barn. It has been about 6 months since I received this plant. The size of the plant is tripled since then. It is about 3 times larger than other plants I received in that order. The leaves are all up, no matter what I do. It is on the sunniest spot on my east side bay window. All other rosettes stay neat and compact, but this one looks quite ragged. The variegation is subtle, narrow cream edge, mostly on the young leaves. The flowers are gorgeous. They opened almost black, the edge is very contrast. After a couple of weeks, the color of the flowers washes down to purple. This is another disappointment. Overall, if you are OK with a huge rosette and leaves and not so good shape of the entire plant, you will probably pleased. I have limited space and I will not keep this variety despite the gorgeous flowers.
