Root Gel

2 oz. jar. Excellent product to promote root growth on woody, or otherwise difficult to propagate material. Not necessary for violets or soft-tissued plants, but we very useful for plants like hoyas, nematanthus, and many other gesneriads. Seals the cutting and functions as artificial root system during root development. Apply a small amount to ends of fresh cuttings. Place treated cutting in hole in rooting medium to avoid rubbing gel off of cutting. Sorry, cannot ship on international orders.

Great for shrubs and houseplants

I have used this on cuttings for shrubs and various houseplants with great results. To keep the root-gel on the cutting: Use a pencil to make a hole in soil, put the cutting in the hole, pack soil around it.
