12 quart box. Extra-coarse vermiculite, a grade not always easily found in small quantities. Important ingredient for 'lightening' soils, and the same that we use in our soil mixes. If you're using an 'African violet soil" purchased at a local box store or garden center, you'll need to add perlite to the mix if you plan on using any wicking or self-watering system. Perlite is a must-have in our plant-loving household

This is a staple for houseplant lovers. So many soils are boggy and prohibit good growth by trapping moisture. We always have a bag handy to mix based on the latest plant purchase.
