dischidia ovata

A hoya relative--the 'watermelon' hoya.  Small green, to coppery-red leaves, with silver veining.  Odd, tiny reddish-pink blooms with gray-green, striped, calyx that never fully open.  Very easy grower and good bloomer.  Vining.

A cutie!

I love the way that they can sunstress red from their usual green leaves. Super veiny too. The flowers have a light fresh scent

Lovely Plant!

I've had my dischidia for about a year. It bloomed within the first few months, and has continued to blossom. The flowers aren't spectacular, but I love that it's so easy to keep happy! I keep it in a south facing window, and the leaves turn a lovely bronze color.

Love this plant!

I ordered this plant about 2 months ago. It arrived in great condition. I love the veining on the leaves. It is growing well in bright light!

Great for mounting!

I love this beautiful little trailing plant! It even flushes red in bright lighting. I mounted some on cork and they're doing fabulously!
