Worth the Wait
I originally wanted to order this plant in 2021 but when I went to checkout it was gone, after slightly over a year of waiting I was able to snag one up in 2022. My little plant has done well and bloomed since I received it, currently it is in a mini sized self-watering pot. The variegation is beautiful and distinctive leaf to leaf :)
Tons of variegated foliage !
I received this plant and the foliage was just outstanding... As the weather gets cooler the variation will return better and the blooms are terrific!!! No where in stores do you see Violets like these. I should know I have ordered plenty !! Meticulous shipping also. Thank you violet barn

Darling!
This is such a sweet little violet. It hasn’t bloomed yet but the leaves are starting to establish the variegation again. When it came, it had variegation as pictured but quickly lost it as I had it in much too hot an environment. It is now coming back into its own and I’m hoping those striking blooms are not far behind. The colors remind me of Christmas!

Showstopper
This violet arrived a little over 6 months ago and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a plant as beautiful out of bloom as it is in bloom! It took a few months for the first bloom, but once it started, the cycle has continued almost constantly. I am so happy with all the healthy plants I've received from VB and that's why I will continue purchasing from them.

Love the Leaves
I got this one several months ago. Seems to ge a very slow grower. Initially I had an issue with the bottom leaves turning brown and dying. Doing better since I re-potted. Still waiting for the first blooms. I think it will be a favorite.
Tiny beauty
I received this in the dead of winter and in beautiful condition. Gorgeous leaves, and seems to already be acclimating well to my grow setup. I adore this pretty little plant

Love this guy but I didn't have luck with it
I was excited to grow this one but it was floppy and struggled, it seems to need special care that other violets do not because of how light the leaves are? I tried to come back a few times with new leaves but would just get floppy and rot away, maybe I didn't water enough? I'm not sure..the other mini I got is doing great and covered with blooms!
I love these leaves
My first order from Violet barn was a pleasurable experience, shipping was fast, packing was outstanding, plants are extreme healthy. The leaves are amazing, no flowers yet but the leaves are bright and healthy and look just like the picture. People are professional and honest and answer their emails in a timely manner
Not as pretty as pictured.
The leaves on mine are more darker green, and I wanted it for the color of the leaves. Also, the color or the flowers are a darker purple not red wine color as stated. VB note: variegation depends upon temperature--grow cooler for whiter leaves.
Beautiful foliage
Gorgeous foliage! Leaves continue to grow symetrically making for a beautifully shaped plant. No blooms yet, but have only had it a couple of months. It's my first variegated AV & I'm still learning how to keep the foliage variegated. New growth is a bit more green but that's my own learning curve.

I love the leaves on this one. I’ve tried this one once before and it died on me. I reordered and this one seems to be better formed. I’m really hoping I don’t kill this one, I’d sure like to see it in bloom!

Purchased this beautiful little Jubilee with 9 other plants. Shipped across country to California during the coldest time, and everything is alive and healthy. Rob did beyond excellent packing everything. He packed it like he was shipping it to himself. If anything dies it will be on us. We will definitely be buying again.

This one is great. It loves the wick watering and warm room I have it in. Very symmetrical and not too pale. My favorite Jolly of all the Jollies.

Elegant and interesting!
Mine is a baby and hasn’t had a chance to bloom yet, but I love the graceful shape of the leaves and the foliage variagation. It arrived in fantastic shape, with just one broken leaf (which I put down to see if it wants to make babies, because why wouldn’t I?) and a lovely root system. It’s busily growing more leaves, and I’m excited to see the variegation patterns on each one. The semi-mini size is also slightly less terrifying for me to handle as a novice collector than the minis and microminis.
PRECIOUS JOLLY
I ORDERED TWO OF THESE MINI VIOLETS LAST SUMMER. ONE FOR MYSELF AND ONE FOR MY FRIEND WE NAMED THEM JOLLY AND JILL. OVER THE WINTER JILL HAD FLOR. LIGHT AND JOLLY HAD NATURAL LIGHT. JILL GOT BIGGER . THEN THIS SUMMER THEY WERE BOTH GROWING AND THEN JILL GOT SICK ALL OF A SUDDEN. SHE WAS SITTING IN THE WINDOW THAT SHE LIKES. IT LOOKS LIKE SHE GOT ROOT ROT.
Beautiful variegated foilage!
This lovely little violet arrived well packaged and with no broken leaves. I love the green and white foilage and cannot wait for it to bloom. I think it would make a beautiful centerpiece at Christmas time. Thanks Violet Barn!!!

Jolly Jubilee
I ordered one of these plants several years ago - this plant is a real jewel. Steady cooler temps and wick watering keep the variegation consistent in the well-behaved rosette of foliage, and the garnet purple flowers just keep coming. I recommend this non-temperamental plant as one of the easiest of the easiest fancies.

I received my little jelly Jubilee in September of last year. Since receiving this little guy he has bloomed non-stop has five beautiful symmetrical rows of leaves all beautifully variegated. I may be a novice, but this little Jolly Jubilee will be a contender at this year's show for sure! Thank you for starting such healthy happy plants!

I ordered this plant in 2012. I was so pleased with it and the other 2 violets I ordered. This winter I lost all of my African Violets. We had a heater malfunction in my sun porch and they got to cold. I was so heartbroken. However I can order this one again and was so happy. This was by far my favorite. I love the light colored leaves and the dark blooms. It was a healthy plant and bloomed several times a year. I am so glad I can order in the winter months and know they will arrive safe.
Gorgeous foliage and many blooms!
This is the most successful I have been with an African Violet so far. It has grown quickly and the foliage is beautiful! It blooms almost constantly! I am thrilled and will try my luck with other varieties now.

I just got my mini violets, with my favorite being Jolly Jubilee! I was very hesitant on ordering the miniature ones, but these little girls (I call them my little girls) are so darn cute! I can't wait for them to bloom! So far I've now ordered 9 plants, with only the Jolly Jubilee being the only one with buds. A bit disappointed that only one had buds, but they are all such healthy looking plants! A new hobby has now been started!

My little plants arrived today. They are in excellent shape. Lost one leaf off of the Jolly Jubilee,but you wouldn't know it. In all I ordered 3 mini African Violets. Perfect little violet!
Just received my little Jubilee and she is perfect! I was worried over her arrival because it's over 90F today but she did fine with the meticulous packing TVB is noted for. I am very pleased with my second order and am looking forward to blooms.
JOLLY JUBILEE
This little mini plant had beautiful foliage and beautiful flowers. It did great for about 8 months and then it started getting pale and sickly looking and died. I have a lot of violets but this one did not survive. I will probably try this plant again as it really is an unique plant.
Beautiful leaves!
When I received this foliage, unfortunately a couple of leaves were broken. But these are so beautiful and nice symmetry. Color of flower close to the first picture on this page. It has several buds now, so I'm looking forward to see the flowers.
My first mini
I ordered this little plant to see what a mini is like- what a surprise- after only two weeks it has a pretty little bud coming up-I'm sold. Here I am ordering 10 minis to stack in with my standards. No luck
This looked like a striking AV but I couldn't get mine going. It was very small when it arrived and it just didn't seem to take. It hung on for over a year but never really grew much then it just died. I'm considering giving it another try though.

I am thinkinking the variegation may be very sensitive to temperature. Since I have had it - only a few months - it has been in constant air conditioning and yet, the variegation is very minimal. I was hoping for something much more like the photo....
A very vigorous plant
This plant is growing vigorously under grow LEDs. New leaves and flower stems are growing profusely after owning this for about a month and a half. Flowers are goblet-shaped and a dark burgundy color. A very stunning plant with the variegated leaves.

This little plant has beautiful leaves. Unfortunately, I have had it for months and it has yet to bloom. I have tried several different perching areas in my home, and finally found window she likes. I hope it blooms soon!

Beautiful little plant!!! These plants are received just before Christmas, my first order from The Violet Barn, they came with very little damage maybe a few leaves broken in the order. This was my first of three African Violets I ordered from this site. Everyone of the plants were wrapped with care and arrived intact. They were and remain very healthy. The Jolly Jubilee has nice variegated leaves and dark blooms that really pop. I've ordered a few other places but keep coming back to the Violet Barn as my top pick.

I received this plant along with several others. It was my first order and every plant came to me in absolutely beautiful condition. 4 of the 10 plants were in bloom, and Jolly Jubilee is a mini and just beautiful with its mostly white leaves with the green stripe down the center. I intend to order again very soon, as I was quite impressed with all the plants, the way they were packed so carefully to be shipped, and the seemingly endless supply of violets I now want!

not as expected
I bought this plant about a year ago, and is yet to bloom. Since I have about 25 violets and a green thumb, don't think the problem is me. May try repotting and a different location, and see what happens.....
