My Favorite Mini
I received the Rob's Kitten Caboodle in a special mini offering. My favorite flower coloring (lavender/lilac) and leaf variegation (light green/white). Little plant with big flowers. Not all leaves show variegation, maybe with age?
Robs Kitten Caboddle
Leaves are variegated as shown. Flowers are mostly white with a very light shade of purple around edges. There only a few blooms at this time. Delicate looking violet.
Green and ivory leaves!
I have had mine for I think about 2 months now. It is covered in tiny buds under the leaves, so should be a week or 2 it will be in bloom. This is the last one to bloom in the 5-pack special that I got, so curious to see the flower color. I have fallen in love with these little plants, so I am going to order some standard violets as well. The way they pack shows a lot of pride in their product, I just hope they all know at Violet Barn how many smiles happen because of their fine work and care in these little plants. Thank you!
I ordered the special of 5 mini violets and so glad this is one of them .
The foliage on this one is adorable, fast grower it is primed to explode into blooms. So happy I found violet barn, ordering some standard violets next, their packaging is so nice, the plants are so special and arrive in such healthy condition, can't wait to see what I get next.
Lost in cooler temperatures
I was very excited about this plant, but sadly lost it and several other of the Rob's variegated varieties last winter. We keep our house on the cooler side in winter and had several variegated plants turn completely white - beautiful until they could no longer feed themselves and died. I am going to try this again and see if we can keep it a little warmer and happier this time around as it is beautiful in the picture.
