A Favorite
I really ordered this plant because of the name, but it became a favorite! I grew it for several years, and it wasn’t finicky at all. It blooms well once it’s established, and the leaf color is beautiful, a good complement to the flowers.
3rd time a charm?
This will be the third time I am trying this beauty. The heatwave killed off a few violets and I am trying to save the last one I have. I am anxious to get this one to survive, it has the potential to be lovely.

I find the foliage on this plant intriguing...the blooms and foliage really compliment each other.

I'm wanting to like this little plant and it grows very well in my window but the color of the leaves is nothing like the picture above and when it does flower; the blooms do not stay long. The plant is very healthy but the foliage color is not attractive at all.
