Columnea linearis ‘Purple Robe’

No blooms yet, but the plant arrived healthy and the foliage is so cool! Very different from my other columnea.
I love this plant
I love this plant. I've had a problem with overwatering in the past so now I tend to underwater. I get a slightly wilted plant occasionally, some brown tips on leaves, but this plant has never given me any trouble. I'm going to take a cutting, for insurance, and see if I can take it out of the terrarium so I don't have to it back. I suspect that it will do just fine.
Always a favorite
'Purple Robe' has always been a favorite. The long bushy stems remind me of a bottle brush. The slender reddish/purple tubular flowers amongest the narrow dark-green foliage is very attractive. Always in bloom once established. Hardy grower.
