One of my Favs
I ordered four AVs in this batch and though I am fine with the AVs to not be blooming when they arrive it is always a treat when they do. This violet came with 3 beautiful blooms and the color is just stunning. I made a decision a few orders ago to hold off on reviews until they bloom so that all my reviews aren't just "They are healthy, packed well, and fast shipping." Let's face it, that is the standard service for The Violet Barn. Besides, it is more fun to share the excitement when they bloom. This little beauty will clearly be among the my favs.
Starry Night Blue
This is one of four babies I received in my last order. All four babies were packaged beautifully - every leaf in pristine condition. My Starry Night Blue is growing fast with a lovely crown and symmetrical shape. Can not barely wait for my first bloom.
Love this variety!
I have had the Starry Night Blue I ordered from Violet Barn for 4 months now. Once I repotted it it just took off with minor attention needed. I just happened to notice a week ago there were a few buds partially open and just a couple of days ago one of them was fully open. The color and shape is true to the picture. I was not disappointed at all!
Gorgeous
Of the five violets I received this one lost 2 leaves in shipping and I easily broke off another, oops. That being said 2.5 months later all violets are blooming and this is my favorite next to the Black Pearl Sport (Grey Ocean). When SNB starts to open the petals seem almost black with the white edge and in a few days it grows bigger and the deep gorgeous blue purple with ruffles and zigzags of white edging are magnificent. This photo is accurate enuf, but doesn't capture the depth of this flower. The leaves on mine do seem more easily to be damaged by water or looking at them funny, but I'd totally buy this one again if mine keeled over. The suckering isn't so bad on this one as my others, but I read AV's sucker when they are stressed...not sure on how to prevent that.
BEAUTIFUL
Absolutely love this plant. Received it as a gift from my brother and just love how beautiful and healthy it is!!
