A Beautiful Red

I'm just beginning to get into the reds when it comes to African violets. I researched the most beautiful reds available, and Tomahawk kept showing up as one of the older varieties that was still one of the best. I was having trouble finding it and then discovered it on the VB website. I received it last week, and not only was it very healthy, it was also in bloom. There is no question it is an exquisite shade of red, and no secret as to why it remains a favorite to this day. I am very happy with my purchase!!!

Tomahawk is my favorite

I love the Violet Barn! All my plants arrive so carefully packaged and they always are so responsive to my questions. 'Tomahawk' is absolutely beautiful and has quickly become one of my favorites.

Lovely

I mistakenly over watered a bit when I first got it and thought I might loose it. Thankfully it survived and is beautiful. Such a lovely color!

Difficult?

Like a couple of other reviewers, I've always found Tomahawk hard to grow. I don't know why. I keep reading here and elsewhere on the internet that Tomahawk is one of the "best reds" and "easy to grow", but in my several attempts to grow it, from severeal different vendors, it goes *kaput*.

Tomahawk

Love all violets but this one has to be on the top of my favorite list! Blooms almost all the time. Highly recommend.
