Received 3 young Ching Dynasty starters
The 3 young Ma's Ching Dynasty starters arrived today and I am not pleased. They are all extremely fragile, very tiny and one is very badly discolored and I am concerned. They are so fragile that when unpacking, one of them is now exfoliated as the tiny leaves kept popping off left and right! I am not happy with this order and decided to write a review as I have had previous (recent) orders arrive in this same condition. I am tired of being told from Violet Barn "they will be OK and adjust, keep us posted" - buyers should not be shipped inferior plants that are not well established and ready for sale. If they cannot tolerate shipping, they are too young to sell!
Growing Beautifully
I adore this plant. She’s been pushing out new leaves since I got her, and blooms can’t be far behind. Beautiful, healthy and really sturdy foliage.
So Pretty
The first blooms were a very faint yellow, with a blue-violet border. The flowers grow more golden as the plant matures—worth the patience!
Ma's Ching Dynasty is Stunning!
Ma's Ching Dynasty is a stunning variety. It wasn't the easiest-to-grow violet I've ever had, but it sure looks great when it blooms. It's a sophisticated variety that may take at least an intermediate level grower.
