Ma's Ching Dynasty won't grow for me
I have tried this AF twice. First time I believe I over-watered and over-fertilized it and it never had the pretty blooms in the picture before it looked so bad, I tossed it out. The second time, I had one bloom that was lovely under lights, but the plant is refusing to grow. I think it might be my environment and while I have not killed it, it just is not growing like the rest of my AF that I got from violetbarn. I'm still trying, but am discouraged.

I always get compliments on this AV, and I've had it for several years now.
Beautiful plant but....
The blooms won't open all the way. This is the only violet I have that the buds won't fully open and I don't understand why. They do not wilt and drop, they just won't open. Other than that she is pretty, nice light green curly leaves and masses of buds. Now if they would just open up.

This is a beautiful blossom and am ordering another one for my wife to enjoy for spring.
