Beautiful Blooms

This has been a great bloomer in my collection. I really like how she just keeps on spreading her beauty!

So many blossoms!

My Ian Minuet just blooms and blooms. Probably the most floriferous one I own, and the flowers are beautiful.

Constant bloomer!

This one is an older hybrid, but still one of the favorites. The rosette is not the best, but who cares! It is constantly in bloom. I can't even choose the time to replant it! The color of the flowers depends on the temperature - it has more raspberry if the temperature is low.

One of the favorites

This is an older hybrid, but it never disappoints. The flowers are so beautiful. The rosette is neat, which is very important for me. Loves the light, does not perform very well in the shade. A bit more thirsty than other violets in my collection. Blooms beautifully from the very young age, but the real show begins when the plants grows and gets a well developed rosette. Highly recommend - easy to grow, you will get tons of compliments from your friends and guests.

Tireless bloomers

Very happy with my one small purchase! packaged well and shipped quickly, plants is healthy. I bought this plant two years ago and it’s never disappointed me, very sturdy and a continuously blooming plant. RECOMMEND

No blooms yet...but the foliage is beautiful

I live in Northern California where the summer heat is off the charts. The day I received my african violets it was over 100 degrees. My plants were packaged extremely well and seemed quite comfortable. No blooms yet so I can't comment on the flowers (that's why I only gave 4 stars). I'm excited to be the owner of exquisite African violets again! Glad I found your website!

Ian Minuet

I bought this plant at the national convention last year. The blossoms are huge and plentiful and the foliage shapes up very nicely! I absolutely love it!

IAN MINUET - A MOST BEAUTIFUL RUSSIAN !

Recently placed a mail order and received this plant as one of the 10 violet sellers choice special. Ian arrived in great shape with a huge beautiful blossom. Although we have only had it a couple of weeks, it was repotted about a week ago and now there are FOUR new buds, one on each leaf !

A flower explosion on my stand!

Ian Minuet is a superior violet in every way; size of bloom, bloom count, blooms held high and great easy to grow foliage. It's a real beauty!

A heavy bloomer

A very heavy bloomer and a real show stopper.

So pretty, even as a baby!

Just got this a little while ago and it is just gorgeous! The flowers are huge, and there are now about as many on the plant as there are leaves - talk about your over-achiever, plant version. The color is lighter than the pictures, but is lovely. This is an eye-catching violet already, can't wait to see what it does when it grows up.

Worth your while

We had gotten a few Ian Minuet flowers a few years back, and they are still vibrant and full of color. They're all healthy and make for great decor around the house.

The photo of this violet does not do it justice! This violet is just beautiful! The flowers are HUGE and last so long!

Ian Minuet

I love this plant! Blooms are beautiful and it's been constantly in bloom since I've purchased it a few months ago.

Most beautiful ever!

This is probably the most beautiful violet that I have ever purchased from the Violet Barn over many years of being a regular customer. I agree with other reviewers that the picture does not do it justice. I grew it under a grow light. It held up well during the Texas summer and bloomed profusely during the fall and winter for several years. I eventually lost it last year (my fault), but am now re-ordering. Highly recommended.

One of my favorites!

Ian Minuet is the one of the best plants I own (and I have a lot!). This pictures don't show how beautiful it really is. Breathtaking variety. Very frilly. Leaves tend to grow up, but it can be fixed with proper light settings. Highly recommended. :)

Breathless!

Bought this a couple of weeks ago. Every time I see it I find myself breathless! The red-violet edge on the blooms is perfectly set off by the glowing bright green foliage.

very pretty

This flower is very pretty. The colors are great against the nice foliage. My mom and I both ordered one of these and for the first few months we had her the leaves stood straight-up (she is nick-named straight-up) but as she aged her foliage settled down and now it looks normal but continues to bloom very pretty flowers.

Spectacular flowers

I got this plant last week. The plant is very nice and the flowers are really stunning. They contrast with the foliage. It arrived home perfectly packed with flowers and buds.
