A little slow, but ...
I have grown this species in the past and it's one of my favorites. The growth is slow, but the good news is that when the plant finally matures and attains some size, it stays in good shape for a long while. Extra-succulent foliage on this one with velour-like leaf fuzz. I find this one does best for me in a shallow potting substrate - I fill the bottom third of the pot with coarse perlite and top it off with the actual planting medium which is extra coarse and airy.

This is a lovely natural looking African Violet that is an easy keeper. It also propagates easily.

Lamb's Ears
I just got my first shipment of many species violets. It's all about the variation of the leaves and growth forms. This one stands out with adorably fuzzy leaves. It is ridiculously cute. The leaf shape is attractive and the pale green veination pattern stands out as well. The flowers will be the icing on the cake.
