Beautiful leaves
Bought this one to add to my species collection, and the first thing that struck me, beyond the always fantastic packaging was just how beautiful the leaves are. The underside is a light purple, but the veining is green leaving a beautiful, complex pattern. The first buds are starting to grow, so it should be blooming soon. Can't wait!
Easy to grow
This one is easy to grow and can even take some neglect. The flowers are an intriguing light purple-blue. It flowers easily also.
Amazing Foliage!
This violet has some beautiful green foliage! I purchased this one not too long ago. It has become one of my favorites and his not even bloomed yet. I recommend this one!

A long time ago, on a continent far, far away
No AV collection is complete without at least one AV species plant among the carefully cultivated hybrids. S. tongwensis is a great choice. It's not tempermental or fussy, but happily spreads its leaves and flowers even under less than ideal conditions. I'm happy to count it among my collection.
