I’m Back!
This was my favorite Strepto when I first ordered from Violet Barn- I no longer have it so reordering and adding another. Looking forward to many blooms from this little gem!
Great Plants
Ordered 3 plants including this and the quality is above expectation! Hard to pick my favorite
No Kidding
They mean it when they say “heavy bloomer”! Those gorgeous velvety flowers just kept coming… until I killed it. Totally my fault— I’m a novice streptocarpus lover and I made a classic mistake by potting up too dramatically. I had found they needed daily watering in their initial little pots under grow lights, but they grow so fast, they needed repotting quickly. I should only have gone up one pot size. Instead, I put them into larger and much deeper pots, and took them out from under the grow lights since the new pots didn’t fit. Tragically, I kept up the same daily watering routine. They were immediately unhappy but it took me a little too long to realize what was happening… I had created perfect root rot conditions. I eventually potted them back down, trimming the rotten roots off… but it was too late. However, armed with new experience, I’m back here to buy the same amazing plants again. This time I won’t make that rookie mistake!

I've spent the last 3 days perusing your website and all your beautiful plants. I wish I could visit your barn in person. I finally decided which plants I want to order, and Bristol's Black Light is one of them. I can't wait to receive "him" and several others I'm ordering. Thank you for providing a wealth of information and education in addition to these beautiful plants.
