Bristol's Potpourri

Terrific plant, it never disappoints.  Deep shell-pink blooms with bright lemon-yellow throat.  Constant and heavy bloomer, compact grower, and heavily fragrant!

Love, love, love it!

I'll say it again, love it. I so admired streps for years, but due to limited space, I hesitated to purchase one. Well, Potpourri fills the bill for me. Grows nice and compact, but provides me with lovely blooms with a nice sweet fragrance. If you have limited space but want a strep, this is the one.

Beautiful plant

This is one of my favorite Streps. It hasn't grown too big for me (though I haven't had it too long) but it has made many delicate pink flowers. They are rather shiny and look like porcelain. I have noticed a very faint fragrance, and it may get a bit stronger with a bigger plant. The fragrance is sweet.

A bit of a let-down; no fragrance

The pretty bubblegum pink and yellow flowers are quite striking, although overall, the plant is a bit of a disappointment for me. I've had Bristol's Potpourri almost a year now, and compared to my other streps, it is a slow grower and sparse bloomer. The plant arrived with a single flower that had a very faint, sweet smell. No bloom since has had any scent whatsoever (which is disappointing, considering that the fragrance was the selling point). I also have a Holka strep, and side by side, Potpourri just looks like a boring, inferior version of it. If the blooms don't randomly develop some kind of fragrance soon, I will probably be gifting this plant. in my mind, Holka is simply the 'better' option. VB Note: You'll notice fragrance more when air is more humid and still. If in a large room (esp with air conditioning) and lots of air movement, you may not notice it.
