Bristol's Ribbon Candy

One of our best.  Fully double, bright pink round blooms with dark red veining on white lower throat.  Very profuse, constant, bloomer, very aptly named.

So pretty!

I passed this strep over many times before finally buying it. I'm glad I did. It's beautiful. One of my favorites. Even prettier than it's picture.

Super pretty blooms just like ribbon candy

It took a little while to bloom (well to be honest just a few weeks but I was impatient) and now has the prettiest flowers you ever saw, just so unique with the different pink tones and kind of a double flower. I just love it! Two blooms and a bud or two now, am trying super hard not to over water like before.

Almost never stops blooming

The flowers look just like the photo and last a long time.

Ribbon Candy

When in bloom this plant is lovely. It bloomed well last fall and I am looking forward to it blooming again this spring. The little double flower is unique and a pleasure to have.

A beautiful plant and leaves

This plant has grown fast a real show plant but I almost lost it-I went into the hospital and watered all my plants GOOD this plant apparently doesn't like a lot of water-when I came home three days later it looked DEAD I poured the water out and set it back on the stand and left it and left it a week later it is back to looking great- learned my lesson "easy on the water"

candy for the eye

I purchased this strep last winter and she has bloomed for the first time. A beauty she is. Her trumpets are just darling. The double middle and the dark burgundy lines and light creamy yellow coming out of the throat. You should not miss this strep. Very easy to grow.

As sweet as its namesake

Bristol's Ribbon Candy is the showiest of all my streps. She blooms her head off.

Can't Live without It!

I had this one in my strep collection several years ago, and it was my favorite (lost it to overwatering). It was constantly in bloom with fully double blooms. Decided it was time to replace it!

It's Dying

Very small & not a strong root system...it's on it's way out..wilted, the 2 leaves just lay on the surface limp....too bad, I really wanted to see it bloom...but it never even grew...disappointed.

Daughters love it

I bought two streps for for each of my daughters who are homeschooled as projects. The plants are thriving in growth as the girls are in knowledge. We got this one free at the same time the girls got "theirs". They love this one just as much if not more. We much as we love our violets they are starting to lean more towards these. I love that I can share my love of plants with my girls and we have done that exclusively though plants bought from the Violet Barn thus far as they are trusted to provide healthy safe delivery of wonderful plants.

Ribbon Candy

This strep has bloomed continually. The double petals are more pronounced than the pictures. One of my favorites.

aptly names

A must have for any streptocarpus collector or as the start of a collection. The blooms are amazing! With dark pink, medium pink, & white with a touch of pinky peach on its outer frilly edges, it really looks like old fasioned ribbon candy. As this is one of my newer buys, I cannnot attest to bloom habit, I'm very anxious to see what this beauty will do!
