Ficus salicifolia

Thick, woody stems make this a nice bonsai plant.  Small tree with dark brown, woody, trunk and then, finger-like, deep green leaves.  Often will produce fruit (figs) too!

Cute ficus

I was hesitant at first to get a ficus, but was sold on the possibility of seeing fig like berries! This cutie arrived in great shape and is currently seeing how we adapt to my zone 8 climate. So far so good. And after my hesitation I am completely won over by how cute and pretty these big green leaves are. Looking forward to seeing it grow!

Lovely little ficus

This is a wonderful small specimen of ficus with lance shaped leaves. It looks exactly like the photo and has been growing well for me. It needs to be kept moist and not allowed to dry out, however. It is an attractive tree with good symmetry and steady growth habit. You will enjoy having it in your collection.

Beautiful small tree

This little ficus is a real charmer! It has the presence of a standard size ficus, while being only inches tall. It grew really well, until I put it into a terrarium. After that, it's new growth did not seem very happy. I'm guessing maybe it was the higher humidity?:-( Other than that, it seemed to be a sturdy little plant, and didn't drop it's lower leaves like other more fickle ficus can tend to do. It arrived in great shape, after an AMAZING packing job by Violet Barn! Just a pure little box of happiness delivered to my front porch!:-) Thanks, Violet Barn, for all your care in packing these gems!

Adds interest

I bought one of these from my local nursery for some height in a terrarium. It has been easy to care for and looks great with the vibrant green leaves.
