I've been growing this for about a year now. I put it outside in semi-shade here in North Carolina and it thrives. Very nice!
Iron Cross
I ordered 4 Begonias and a Fluffy Ruffles Fern a few months ago for my tree frog terrarium. All arrived in excellent condition! All were beautiful! I have never grown Begonias and consider myself a "black thumb". I had my plants set out and my hubby knocked over the Iron Cross which fell on the floor breaking off all but one leaf. I planted all of the plants in the terrarium and only the Iron Cross and Fluffy Ruffles are still alive after 3 months! I'm sure the other Begonias are wonderful and it was my doing ;o) but I must say that the Iron Cross is a wonderfully hardy Begonia! I'm still loving it and it looks especially cute with my inch long froggy sitting on top of it! =o)

This is one of most beautiful and elegant plants. It grows huge with love and flowers...a center piece for sure!
