Nice easy begonia
I purchased Winky's Chocolate Chip a year ago from The Violet Barn, and it has become one of my favorites. It is easy to grow, has a nice, compact shape, and is a colorful and vigorous plant. I am growing it in a northwest facing window that gets bright, filtered, late afternoon sun. I currently have it in a large bubble bowl, as I have most of my begonias, because of the dry, winter heat.
Winky's Chocolate Chip
I admit I first bought this plant simply because I liked it's name. It has become one of my favorite begonias. Plant was small but full when first purchased. It has grown into a nice middle size begonia. Very full and lots of little babies at base of plant. My does best in shaded window sill. The color seems more intense and brighter with semi-shade for me, anyway.
A Favorite
This is one of my all-time favorites. I absolutely love the colors and the design on the leaves.
