Such a Unique Leaf pattern
This is one of 5 very healthy plants from my first order, and I have already placed a second order. The "EK Bullfight Gold" is like a pot of gold. I love that every plant is carefully placed in it's own box to protect it during shipping. The petioles of AVs are pretty rigid, making them susceptible to breaking, so I am always amazed when these plants can survive the shipping conditions they must endure during their journey. The individual boxes that these are shipped in are the best protection I have seen. I wasn't quite sure what to expect this plant to look like since I have seen young plants that don't quite have all the "coloring" in the leaves that are seen in mature plants. This one does. It has mostly yellow "gold" leaves and a little green...so fun.
Standout Color
Bought this beauty last spring and it is spectacular. The leaves on mine are more golden around the crown with green only on the outer leaves. The blooms are similar in color to the photos--the contrast is striking. It does grow slower than other varieties, but it's worth it. Highly recommend if you are looking for something different.
Beautiful contrast!
This sport of EK-Boi Bykov is beautiful; the dark red/burgandy blooms stand out well against the golden foliage. However it's not a heavy bloomer, so don't expect a huge cap of flowers.
So unique!
One of my more recent purchases, such unique foliage! I Cannot wait to watch it grow and bloom :) As usual, my order was packed with care and the violets arrived in perfect condition.

This is my first time ordering from violets barn and was very please with the 10 violet I receive. That being said Ek bullfighter gold is a real stand out with it golden left and red flower it a cant wait for this one to mature more.
