I received this plant as a freebie in one of my previous shipments. I was not expecting the deep, rich red color or the vibrancy of the green edge and I was thoroughly surprised at the drastic contrast of the blossom. Also, the foliage is well behaved and handsomely dark beneath the blooms. Additionally, I usually have a problem growing Russian varieties, but this one has been very hardy and easy to grow! Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting a darkly beautiful plant or a brilliant red flower.
