Cheerful little plant!
First time ordering from Violet Barn and I have to say they have shipping down to an art! I was hoping at least one in my order had blooms and when I opened the box (like a little kid on Christmas) I was speechless at the amount of blooms I saw! However Rob’s Astro Zombie was so vibrant and cheerful that it just stood out! Definitely 5 Star review for this little gem!

IT GLOWS
The pictures of this violet don't do justice to the beauty of this little plant. I posted a pic on social media and people flipped for it. It packs a big glowing punch on a small plant.

Rob's Astro Zombie
Received a very healthy Rob's Astro Zombie in perfect condition. It arrived with several little buds, so I won’t have to wait long to see what the flowers look like. I have been ordering from VioletBarn for about 2 years now and have always been pleased.
A Favorite!
I love this variety for years already. The foliage grows perfectly, it's easy to keep smaller, (6" diameter) which makes the blossom show all the more awesome, and it propogates really well, about 70% of the babies from leaf cuttings maintain the fantasy. A real beauty and winner.

Pretty Little Blue!
I love this little blue plant. The "stars" on the petals looks like they are saying "I'm twinkling for you". Can hardly wait to get this plant and give it a home and my attention.

Lovely and very reliable!
I received my Rob's Astro Zombie in January 2017, and as a testimony to the superb packing, it arrived in fine condition. It has grown happily on a northwest-facing windowsill, blooming in bursts a few times a year. Usually in the winter, I treat it to a few weeks under the grow lights with the standards, and it springs into bloom yet again! The vivid pink fantasy puffs with hazy borders contrast compellingly with the dark glossy foliage. The plant maintains a wonderfully symmetrical shape without any particular grooming. It's been a delightfully willing bloomer and strong grower!

Just like picture. she is a larger miniature and so far has bloomed twice. I have plant under lights now and in a small pot.
A favorite, sad to see it go
I bought this one nearly two years ago and it did very well at first but has been dying a slow death for the past year or so. At this point, there's a leaf or two still hanging on for dear life. I don't regret purchasing this flower, but don't plan to purchase another even though this was one of my all-time favs. If you've figured out the secret to consistently keep African Violets alive, this one will definitely be one of your favorites as well. It has perfect form and awesome little flowers.

Amazing !Bloomer
This is my favorite of my collection so far. This tiny plant has been covered with spectacular blooms since the first bud!! Each bloom is interesting to see with the varied fantasy. Love it! I would highly recommend.

Perfect order
This was my first time ordering with violet barn. Everything was in perfect condition. Astro zombie was larger than expected with a healthy root ball already. It is already sending up flower stalks. Couldn't ask for a better experience!
Rob's Astro Zombie
I bought this little guy a few years ago and he never ceases to please. Looks like something extra terrestrial with the little pink spots here and there. I highly recommend this one, it's easy to grown and blooms just like the pictures.

My very first order included Rob’s Astro Zombie and oh my gosh is this a cute plant. It arrived with one opened blossom and the purple with pinkish spots is just so vivid. I had 3 other items in the order and they all arrived in absolutely PERFECT condition. I’m anxiously awaiting my next order expected in a couple days with Streptocarpus. I think I’m addicted
Five perfect stars!
This was my favorite years ago when I gave my plants away because I just had too much on my plate, but now retired am setting my stand up again and this is the first sm that was on my list. Love the colors and the dark leaves. Each blossom is a surprise. Bloomed heavily for me.
My New Favorite
This little guy has been growing beautifully for about a year and blooming almost as long. No two flowers come out quite the same. The foliage is perfect in shape, color, and in it's deep red undertone. Really happy with this one.
Striking Violet
I have had this violet for more than two years, and it has bloomed and bloomed for me. The flower nosegay is full and the fantasy markings make it a standout. I went to wick watering a while ago, and for me it has made a difference in profuse and continued blooming. As usual, packing for safe shipping is without equal. All my plants from VB have come in excellent condition regardless of the time of year.

Fantastic plant with a tendency to sucker
Rob's Astro Zombie is a fantastic all-around plant! I purchased it from Violet Barn about a year and a half ago, and since then it has been an almost non-stop bloomer, as well as easy to care for and very forgiving. The only downside is that is does have a tendency to sucker, but if you are careful about removing them they establish themselves into another plant quite easily. If I had to start an AV collection from scratch I would definitely choose this one again!
Fantastic Blossoms
All the Rob's Minis I have tried have been beautiful plants that flowered well; however, Rob's Astro Zombie outdoes itself! The "fantasy" shows on all the blossoms I've had in the 3 years I've been growing this from the "baby" I got from the Violet Barn in 2015!! It started to flower before it was even big enough to transplant. Violet Barn is the best.

I get many compliments on this beautiful little plant. The flowers are so unusual and it’s definitely a conversation starter. Easy to grow and flowers constantly.
Grows neatly and easy to root
The plant I got had several suckers so I cut them out and rooted them. Rooted within 2 weeks. It grows in neat symmetrical form and hopefully it can be my first show plant :) Looking forward to the first bloom.
Cute plant
I just received this plant a few days ago and it is lovely. It came with three blooms already and was packaged very safely along with my other plants. It got a bit sunburnt in my window so be sure not to put it in too intense light.
10 Buds!!
I received my Astro Zombie today. (It is worth having; just for the name!) I was thrilled to find 4 flowers, plus 6 buds on this tiny, healthy plant. I put it in my new dandy pot and it will have a good home for many years I hope. Thank you!
I'm in Love!
I just received my mini Zombie and two other mini's which is also my very first order from The Violet Barn and my first miniature violets. I am so excited! They are beautiful and very healthy and arrived in top form! This little Astro Zombie already has one full spectacular bloom and six buds. I am very impressed by how carefully they were packaged and although the package was on it's side not even one speck of dirt came out of the pots and none of the plants were damaged. Will definitely be ordering more next month.

A "galaxy flower"!
A few months back, I purchased a random 10 pack of mini violets, and, I could restrain myself from picking out this beauty separatly. Out of the 11 violets I received, I was ecstatic to find the one I was most excited for was blooming! The pictures don't do it justice. Absolutely gorgeous.

My first AV!
This was my very first African Violet! What an amazing looking plant! Even though I am new to caring for these beauties it has grown and blooms near constantly! I am now addicted and can't stop ordering The Violet Barn's wonderful plants!
My favorite blooms!
I got this variety as a Christmas present to myself, and I'm so glad that I did! This plant is hearty, and has bloomed beautifully in a moss covered kokedama. I don't seem to have as much pink, but the blooms are beautiful either way! Can't wait till my next order arrives!!!
Had to have my own
A friend ordered one and I liked it so much I ordered my own. I am excited about the blooms on this violet. It is so pretty. I have several buds ready to start another bloom cycle, and I look forward again to beautiful blossoms.

One of My Favorites!
I got to say that just the name of this plant intrigued me! It has become one of my favorite minis (and I have several from the Violet Barn)! It's a strong bloomer and the blooms last for a long time! It grew fast and I had to re-pot it into a more standard size pot. The picture here is very true to my own plant. I'm buying another for my sister's birthday! She will LOVE it!!

I love Zombies
This was one of my first violets I ordered. It has taken 6 weeks to bloom, and bloom it has. It is covered with stunning flowers that fit the description perfectly. From the looks of it will be in full bloom fora long time. Who says zombies are ugly? This one is full of life!

This bloomed right out the box. Three months later, it’s on its second flush of blossoms. The foliage makes Astro Zombie a stand-out in my collection. The leaves are dark, uniform, ribbed, succulent, and perky.
Amazing Blooms!
I've had this violet for over a year now. The blooms are amazing and the flowers are larger than any of my other minis. The color is almost hypnotic, with deep purple-blue blooms splashed with pink. Mine is not a constant bloomer, but when it does blooms... Wow!

Unusualy little Violet
I just received my first order from the Violet Barn and one of my new plants is Robs Astro Zombie. This tiny violet arrived very carefully wrapped in newspaper, nested among other new violets. The blooms are even more vivid than pictured...the contrast between the purples and pinks are so fun...almost neon. I cannot wait to see it get bigger!

Bought this one a few weeks back. 3 leaves had snapped off In shipping. Though It had the initial setback, It has already set out another row of leaves and has several blooms. Leaves lay nice and flat in a shield like configuration. Love it. Easy plant.

Astro Zombie - Best Semi in Show
I purchased this wonderful semi last year after getting back into AVs/Gesneriads after a 20 year break from growing and showing in the 80s in Florida. This plant wants to perform and I entered in out Tucson AVS show last April and got "Best Minature in Show" for it's performance. This one I kept after the show to grow some more -- what color contrast between flowers and great dark foliage. Shapes almost effortlessly for show.

This is a prolific, hardy violet with beautiful large blooms. Mine is still young but loves to bloom. I'm still learning to care for violets, and I recommend this one because it is a happy, easy plant.
Astro Zombie
I received this beautiful plant as a gift and now I want to get another one for someone as a gift. They are the perfect gift as they are both inexpensive and can't be found in local stores. 20 years ago I went to an African Violet show in Houston and bought several. They never recovered from the move to California. Until I was given this plant, I just bought violets from local stores. Now I am hooked again and want to enjoy the exotic again.
Wonderful Miniature Violet
I have had this mini for about four months now. When my violet first came it was pretty small but it has finally developed buds! For being as tiny as it is it must be sending up at least six stems with multiple buds on each of them. I can't wait for them to open! All of my violets I've purchased from Rob's have been wonderful, I can't say enough good things about them.

New to AV's, but have fallen hard. My Robs Astro Zombie has only had one bloom yet so far and I'm amazed at the robust growth and the symetry. I have ordered from a few growers and have found all of my plants from VioletBarn have been exceptionaly easy to grow with many in flower soon after arrival. Couldn't recommend a better grower for plants that transition well to their new homes.

I haven't been growing AVs very long & this is one of my first plants. I cannot believe how beautiful the colors are! It has 7 blooms right now & at least 15 buds. All my friends & family are so impressed! :) Thank you for a wonderful plant!

I have purchased Rob's violets a couple of times. I especially like the Astro Zombie. What a delicate, beautiful flower! Aptly named, as he pink and white splatters just remind you of space anomalies! HIGHLY recommend not only this plant, but the quality of Rob's violets. You cannot find the variety or quality anywhere else!

Beautiful Plant
This Astro Zombie is a magnificant plant. The deep purple flowers compliment the deep green leaves, and it has alot of blooms that last a long time. I live in a dry climate, and have it in a southern window, and get blooms year around. It was slow to really start growing, but when it did. WOW
