Crimson Gift
This violet makes the perfect gift when you don’t know the size of the space available for it in its new home. Since it runs a bit on the smaller side of the standard scale, it is equally happy on a windowsill, a counter, or under the lights. The foliage absorbs light well and makes it adaptable to more circumstances than the variegated types. It is the perfect violet! And when you’re looking for living gifts, nothing is as rewarding as this little beauty. I am ordering another one today. Brenda in Alabama

This violet has such beautiful blooms! Would definitely recommend! All of the plants I have gotten from this site have been in great condition and are lovely plants.

One of my favorites
I really like multi-colored flowers. This is a lovely crimson color. Red African violets do exist. People need to know that as there are many shades of blue, green, yellow, etc, there are many shades of red. I would say that this red is like a cranberry or beet. This plant is also a vigorous and frequent bloomer.
my plant didn't make it :(
Gave it 3 stars because this was the only one that didn't make it out of the 7 plants I bought. All the others are healthy and already gave their first bloom, just only the crimson ice couldn't grow any roots. I checked, removed all the rotted root, put it in plastic bag and periodically open the bag to make sure it's not too humid. I did everything I could, after 6 months I still couldn't save it. So sad because I like it the most among the plants I ordered. :(

Cute Plant
i bought this plant with others about a month ago and it is growing well. I have never had a violet with thumbprint on the pedals so I can't wait for this to bloom. Violet Barn did a great job of packing and shipping.

this little plant had several buds whrn it arrived. But I think it was in shock as they did dry up. the folage is quite large and I am waiting for more buds. excited to see the blooms

Very attractive
Although the blooms are purple rather than crimson-red, the variegated bloom is quite attractive. Plant is nicely shaped. All plants I've received from Violet Barn have been well packed and are healthy.
Eye-Catcher
Beautiful, striking blooms, is nicely shaped with well-behaved foliage. The blooms on mine are the purple color shown in the picture of the entire plant rather than the picture of the red & white single bloom, but lovely just the same. Came carefully packed & in bloom; is growing nicely and still blooming. All the Violets and Begonias I’ve ordered from The Violet Barn are healthy and growing well. I'm placing my 3rd order with them.

This plant has such large leaves I had to put it in a 6" pot! When it blooms, the plant is just loaded with huge clusters of blooms!
