Heavy bloomer
These big lavender frilly blooms are beautiful. This was a healthy vigorous grower for me, and one that I would recommend to beginners or growers who enjoy easy bloomers!
Happy Surprise
Accidently ordered this plant again ... and only realized that fact when it started to bloom. Now I have two AV's with these HUGE beautiful blossom's that bloom all the time. A great plant to have in the collection.

Huge Blooms
Ness’ Ruffled Skies has the most beautiful, biggest bloom! It’s such an easy grower and I will always have it in my collection! It’s one of the prettiest of blues!
Beautiful compact plant
This plant only arrived the beginning of May and is already bursting with buds. As advertised it is a very compact grower so far with huge buds for the size of this baby plant. Very anxious for this little beauty to mature to it's full potential.

I LOVE Ness' Ruffled Skies not only for it's beautiful, prolific blooms, but it's leaves are the furriest I've come across! I can't keep my fingers off the leaves! I hope she doesn't mind! LOL

Receives many complements!
My original Ness' Ruffled Skies came to me from The Violet Barn a few years ago as a healthy neat young plant. It grew in a very symmetrical way without any coaxing and bloomed a few months after receipt. The double blooms are fairly large for the compact plant and mine are a calming yet cheerful shade of blue between periwinkle and actual sky blue. The white frilled edges really make the blue glow. My plant has received several complements and questions about where I bought it. Several people have gladly received some of the progeny I have propagated from it. It's been a wonderfully lovely and reliable violet!
My all time favorite
Having grown a plethora of African Violets, this is my all time favorite. So easy to grow! The plant is very compact, so it doesn't take up much space, a definite plus. Leaves are simple looking, no variegation, but they are also rather flat, which is rare for such ruffled flowers. Usually ruffled flowers come with curling leaves, making it a little harder to repot without causing damage. The best part of this AV is its flowers! Fully double, ruffled, periwinkle blue with white/green edge. Stunning! Large flowers on a small plant. Rare. Very quiet and underappreciated beauty! And of course when the baby Ruffled Skies came in, it was healthy and very carefully packaged.

Ness' Ruffled Skies is Beautiful!!
I purchased this plant from Violet Barn in December and it had to travel cross country from New York to Spokane in the cold and it arrived in great condition! Violet Barn does an excellent job of packing. Two weeks later it had 6 buds opening to blossoms. It has beautiful flowers and a beautiful color, I highly recommend this plant and Violet Barn. One of my favorites
I had this violet a few years ago and it was in constant, beautiful bloom. I transplanted it and unfortunately, it died. It is one of my favorites and I can't wait to get another. It is so beautiful!

I lost this plant in a late fall move and am ordering another. It's an almost constant bloomer with huge, petal-packed blooms!
Terrific Plant!!!
I transplanted my plant into a self-watering pot as soon as I received it, and it took off!!!!....In just a couple of months it has tripled in size, has nice leaf spacing..and just started blooming HUGE beautiful blooms....

Top Notch
After having this one year from the Violet Barn this is blooming profusely. The flowers last a long time and there are many of them. After the first flush of blooms, another came on right away. This is one of my many favorites and all of Violet Barn violets arrive beautiful the many times I have ordered.
Stunning
I am very well pleased with Ruffled Skies which I received in early May. The blooms are stunning and very large. It has been a constant bloomer and I really enjoy looking at this plant every day.
