My Fave
This unique variety is absolutely gorgeous. The leaves are so dark and the lighter colored rib shows off beautifully on each ruffled leaf. It's a favorite of mine.
Something Different
This plant had always grown on the more compact side for me... this can be good or bad depending on the kind of violets you want to be raising. The ruffled leaves are well-behaved, and doesn’t require much effort to grow into a symmetrical specimen. The bloom, though interesting in itself, with its white-backed petals and ruffles, doesn’t really pop out with the dark leaves. Overall it’s a nice interesting violet with a set of rather different qualities to set itself apart from others, and as usual, Violet Barn packs these plants very well.

I received my order today and was so impressed by how well it was packaged. My Windy Day doesn't have any blooms yet but the foliage is stunning! Dark green ruffled leaves with purple underneath - I can't wait for the flowers!
