Perfect specimen

This was my first time ordering from Violet Barn and I was very impressed with how this little plant arrived. It's in perfect condition, not a single broken leaf. It even has a bloom. So excited to grow it on my windowsill!

Hardy little plant!

Not gonna lie... was not great about watering this one for a while. It got pushed behind a different plant and I missed two weeks of watering but it didn't perish in the heatwave that happened then! and it is still doing great (minus a few leaves). It bloomed for me a few weeks after first receiving it and it is very cute little plant.

Almost Unbelievably Dainty and Cute

I bought a S. velutina last month, after seeing an exhibition photo of it online. It arrived packed beautifully, with several layers of padding and insulation, without a scratch or so much as wilted leaf! I'd been worrying about heatwaves in the area where I live, but the plant arrived in excellent condition. It's a tiny little jewel of a plant, and I can't wait for it to bloom. The leaves are so dainty and perfect! Thank you, VioletBarn!

Love it!

My first S. Velutina Lite didn't survive the 107 degree heatwave we had this past summer (even though I kept her in an air conditioned room). I received another one as one of my freebies for another order and she's thriving and flowering regularly. She looks exactly like the photo. Recommended!

Excellent Species....

I got this species as a small baby—it's been a slow grower so far. I think it might grow more like a semi-mini, rather than a standard. But, wow, the leaves are absolutely gorgeous, and (my favorite part!) covered in the tiniest hairs. Nice and furry! Like I said, it has been growing slowly, but the rosette shape is perfect. I always had the idea that maybe species were a bit more unruly: not this one. Perfectly round. Blooms are starting to pop up. I can't wait! Highly Recommended!
