Great for beginners!
I bought this plant to explore the other gesneriads and this plant is amazing. One year later in the same pot it has three flower stalks. And big beautiful blooms. The plant is also very forgiving and can tolerate being next to the window in the winter. We get freezing temperatures. I would recommend for anyone who’s curious about this genus.

I received this as a freebie. It grew very quickly, and started blooming right away. Very pretty flower! I enjoyed for awhile and then gave it as a gift to my aunt. She loves it and has done very well with it.

So easy and willing, even for a complete beginner!
Completely new to growing AVs and their cousins, I added this to my first Violet Barn order last October. It has been a joy to grow . I now have six streps but this is the favorite - very pretty with her frilly edge and delicate pink, yet robust and easy.
