Bristols Xolo

Very large, velvety, very nearly black, purple blooms with two yellow 'fangs' on throat.  One of our favorites and most recommended.  Very profuse and constant bloomer.

WOW!

I've grown a few African Violets and they have been doing really well. So with the quarantine and all I was researching these and found your nursery. I decided to order a few plants from your shop and decided to try some Streptocarpus and I was AMAZED at how great the plants all were... this variety came with a bud and looks so healthy and should bloom soon (my other was the same!). The packaging was great and none of the plants were damaged... I choose this variety due to the unique color and after reading your info it seemed like a great compliment to my African Violets... I'm ready for my next order and going to try a few other plants as well. THANKS and I look forward to my next order!

Anxiously Waiting!!!!

This is my first time ordering a strep, it hasn't bloomed as yet. I am anxiously waiting for the 1st bloom. Keeping my fingers crossed. Based on the picture, I am quite sure it will be spectacular.

Great plant!

Xolo is a prolific bloomer and has lovely, robust foliage. Very rewarding to grow.

Can't believe MY success

I was curious to grow the mini violets and then happened to see the streps. I gave them a try and I can't believe how well my Bristol's Xolo is doing. Constantly blooming. Gorgeous.

Missed It...By That Much

Bristol’s Xolo had been pushing up its dark blooms for several weeks and I was anxiously waiting to admire the “nearly black, purple blooms.” Then my A/C broke down and the house temperatures soared to over 100 degrees for several days. Unlike one of the previous reviews of Xolo surviving a fire, my Xolo went into shock and the multitude of blossoms wilted before they could fully present themselves. Even the surviving leaves never had a chance to propagate after I put them down. I will re-order some day to own this fine specimen.
