Love this little dude, but it didn't return the love.
Had one of these tiny syngoniums over the winter, and through a combination of thinking it was low light and panic-watering whenever it got a yellow leaf, it got root rot and died. Would try again, though.
Seems hardy
I'm bran new to terrariums, so I havent taken many risks with my tiny new charges. I got brave with this guy though, and trimmed it way down, separated it and moved to a smaller spot in a sealed terrarium. I was kind of brutal. Well it not only didn't die, but is continuing to thrive and will need trimming again as its touching the top! I'm in sunny Southern California and it grows towards the light, so I think it might like a brighter spot than I have it in. It does seem to get fairly tall so it may need frequent trimming if you don't want it big.
Adorable Plant
I just received this plant and it is adorable and very sturdy. Would look adorable in a fairy garden or small space that needs a little color. The Violet Barn always has the most beautiful and unique plants.
