Lemmaphyllum microphyllum

'Jananese bead fern'.  A wonderful little plant.  Thick, green leaves borne in clusters from fuzzy brown rhizomes.  Very odd, a slower grower, making it great for terrariums of small plantings

Sweet, odd and loveable little fern

I love this little guy. I can't really explain why, but it's always refreshing to see it's odd, round little leaves sitting perfectly happy in the terrarium. It has grown a very little since I got it but the rest of the foliage has stayed perky and fresh looking.

Fabulous terrarium creeper!

I've had this fern for a year or so and it is so useful in terrariums. It is slow but reliable, either as a groundcover or to clamber over rocks or cork accents. Really very cute and easy if given the high humidity of a terrarium.
