Rob's Wagga Wagga

Tremendous bloomer, it sometimes has more blooms than leaves!  Loads of dark blue doubles with irregular white mottling on tips.   Medium green, pointed, semiminiature foliage.  Extremely heavy and constant bloomer.  Trailer.  AVSA #8071

Blooms continually without much care

I have had Wagga Wagga for more than 3 years now and it is continually in bloom with very little care. We have been going to the Violet Barn for years and have received exceptional plants!

Max Pugh Dec 29 2022, 12:22 PM

Happy bloomer!

Love this trailer, its such a happy and non fussy plant. Produces tons of blooms.

Ashley Evans Oct 10 2022, 20:48 PM

Amazing!

This is my first trailer and WOW! In 4 weeks it has doubled in size, has 2 flowers and 3 new buds. The flowers are beautiful. A rich violet color that darkens in the center with a splash of white on the tips. The flower petals also sparkle. Wagga Wagga has become my new favorite!

Patrick Caba Aug 14 2022, 23:50 PM

Strikingly deep blue/purple blooms

I love this trailer especially for the contrast of the deep color of the blooms to the medium green foliage. It is a young plant but it is going to be amazing as it gets larger as it already draws the eye with just half a dozen blooms open currently.

Easy Growing Little Trailer

I love this little trailer. I've grown it off and on since the 90's and it never disappoints! Constant bloomer wit lots of foliage and excellent trailing habit. I like to keep it in a bonsai dish.

Christopher Brooks Oct 16 2021, 15:39 PM

Easy to grow

This is an easy to grow, constant bloomer.

A trailer of many charms!

I confess I first ordered Wagga Wagga because its name made our 4 year old granddaughter laugh, She kept asking if I'd buy one and I did. It sits on her little desk in the sun-room for when she visits. The puffy double purple flowers are really lovely. I liked it so much I recently ordered two more and they are blooming beautifully. The fact that I know well the town in Australia after which it's named adds further to her charm!

Awesome

Great trailer for a saucer. Always produces suckers to fill in and produce a perfect plant.

Anonymous Apr 12 2020, 04:59 AM

Charming!

Very cute trailer: self forming and not a fussy plant, with plethora of small medium to dark blue flowers with occasional speckles of white. Blooms not stop! It's always happy to please. Gave mine away to a fundraiser for a good cause, so I'm getting myself another one.

Anna McInroy Mar 29 2020, 16:13 PM

Beautiful!

This was my first little trailer and is so wonderful! Easily one of my favorites. It came to me with a handful of little buds and now has some lovely flowers I am enjoying very much. Defiantly recommend.

Anna Komora Aug 14 2019, 09:38 AM

Lovely!

This little guy has grown like crazy since I bought him! He's now covered in buds and the blooms are truly lovely. This is my first trailer and so far I'm more than pleased!

Kristen Berg May 11 2019, 19:12 PM

I love this little guy!

Rob's Wagga Wagga was one of my first trailing violets. The flowers are gorgeous, and I always seem to get a good rate of success with propagation of leaves. I'd highly recommend this plant!

Frances Griffith Mar 31 2019, 15:37 PM

Wagga Wagga is a Must!!

This lovely little trailer arrived in winter with many buds. I love the color which is a deep violet blue. It is full of blossoms and a real eye catcher. I cannot wait till I grow it into a wonderful show plant. I highly recommend that you add this tremendous bloomer with delightful color to your collection.

Rob's wagga wagga

I have two of this one and I am afraid they are going to bloom themselves to death-just beautiful . I have always loved the African Violets even as a child we would go to the country to see my grandmother and my mom would stop at this house where a woman sold violets and my mom would let me pick on out for my grandmother. I know she would have loved this one.

REGINA HENDERSON Nov 12 2018, 16:13 PM

Wow

Waggs wagga ;Absolutely a magnificent plant already blooming.. Plants came in perfect condition and all plants "very well packaged " This was my first time ordering .

Gary McCracken Sep 21 2018, 13:32 PM

Easy to grow

This one is very easy to grow. We just moved and all the plants had a bit of a shock. This one came right out of it and put on lots of new growth.

Julie Fite Sep 17 2018, 09:10 AM

Mini Violet

This little plant was sent to me as a "cheer up" gift. I just love it. I get up every day and rush to see how much it has changed overnight. It came in great shape but very small and no buds or flowers. With in a very short period of time, I saw little buds and then groups of buds everywhere. Now it has tripled in size and is covered in little flowers. I keep it on a window facing west and it seems to love it there. I am definitely going to get more!

PATRICIA ROACH Aug 01 2018, 23:15 PM

Nonstop blooms!

Really hardy repeat bloomer! I picture don't do justice to the deep purple shade on this one. Definitely a keeper!

CHARLES WEATHERS Jul 05 2018, 11:51 AM

Pick me, pick me!

I just received this tiny plant, and it arrived in perfect condition and in full bloom! All the plants in my order are undamaged, healthy, and several are getting ready to bloom, but Rob's Wagga Wagga is already a stand-out. Thank you, Violet Barn.

Anne Jun 30 2018, 11:40 AM

Beautiful

I love this plant! It blooms all the time and highly recommend!

Gorgeous and like potato chips. You will want more than one!

Gorgeous flowers that delight my mother. Colors are vibrant and unique, and plants are healthy. Have been blooming like mad since they came out of the box.

Clarence L Harper IV Oct 02 2017, 05:47 AM

More amazing tHan I expected

This beautiful little plant is in constant bloom. I'm gifting mine to a florist. No worries. ..I'm purchasing 2 more to replace it!! No dissapointmention with this beauty. Every collection should own this one.

Gail Jacques Sep 19 2017, 11:51 AM

It's all true!

It was dormant for a bit in my north window. I moved it to a west window under lights and it took off. Wonderful plant!

Anonymous Sep 25 2016, 09:38 AM

Fast grower

I've always loved Rob's trailers. Wagga Wagga is a fast grower and loves to spread. Blooms a lot. Recently repotted in a 10"saucer and disbudded. Month later it is filling saucer and blooming again. Soon will be growing off sides of saucer. I bought it May 2015 and it is largest of 3 trailers I got.

Laurie Nelson Aug 12 2016, 23:04 PM

A complete package

Easy to grow and shape. The flowers are beautiful and abundant. Most rewarding trailer I have grown.

Anonymous Apr 26 2016, 11:03 AM

Insists on blooming!

I am trying to get my Wagga Wagga ready for an April show to bloom! My favorite trailer! and have to check it every day for new buds, its determined.

Dorothy Widerski Mar 01 2016, 09:11 AM

My favorite trailer

So far my very favorite trailer! Fast grower, tons of blooms

Debra Hernandez Jul 16 2015, 18:02 PM

Many blooms as advertised

I recently started growing several minis, semi-minis, and trailers in my south-facing kitchen window. Some have tentatively put out a few blooms, as though they haven't quite decided if they like the location or not. This one, however, is not a bit timid, and seems to open more blooms every day. It has definitely lived up to its reputation, and is a lovely rich color as well.

Karen Reeder Jun 12 2015, 02:50 AM

Beatiful Plant

I bought this plant a year ago and it is growing great. When it arrived, it was small and very nicely packed. It grows very fast and blooms non stop. I'm adding more trailing violets this year, I just love them, very very easy to grow for beginners like me.

Christine Wang Apr 09 2015, 22:17 PM

Excellent!

I love this plant! It grows very nicely, and blooms profusely. It is a nice semiminiature size, and I even enjoy the little bits of white on the tips. Not quite fantasy, but still nice. Each bloomstalk is LOADED with buds!

Robert Eagle Aug 29 2014, 17:34 PM

happy

I've been "bitten" by some online orders before, but I decided to try the Violet Barn. I was VERY impressed with the plants and the shipping. Three of my six plants ordered were already blooming!!! The packing was great. I've already ordered more violets and given the web site to several friends that have ordered!

Cynthia walker May 15 2014, 10:01 AM

Non Stop Bloomer

This is probably one of my favorites of your Rob's varieties. It is just a small plant and it has been constantly covered in blooms since I received it about 3 months ago. You will not be disappointed with this one!

Zoraida Bacallao Dec 27 2013, 13:57 PM

Robs Wagga Wagga

This is my favorite out of four violets. love the dark blue flowers with it pointed leaves. Looks like it grew quick within the first week I had it. So cute. Great plant!

Tiffany Bauer Sep 05 2013, 08:19 AM

Wonderful

Rob recommend Wagga Wagga as my first trailing AV. It arrived blooming with 12 flower spikes. My plants made their cross-country trip in perfect condition despite the 90+ degree heat. Great service. I really cannot say enough....

Mona Jun 14 2013, 11:35 AM

Waga Waga Wow

The plant came small, it is a minitrailer. But, it was already in bloom and covered with dark double blooms. I'd buy this plant again if I wanted something special for a friend. There is a date on the flower-pot-cup and I guess that was when it was last repotted. I've never ordered minis before so I guess I'll learn about watering them on this plant--it is supposed to be a tough one.

Joe Jun 01 2013, 16:54 PM

A MUST HAVE!!!

I have had this little trailer for about 6 months now. It is just as pictured, very easy to grow and the number of blooms--WOW! When it does go out of bloom, it will rest about two weeks and then a large amount of blooms start all over again. You will not be sorry with this one!

Priscilla Varney Mar 24 2013, 00:57 AM

A MUST HAVE!!!

This is a beautiful little plant. It is constantly in bloom and very easy to grow. The blooms are a very dark puple with white on tips.

Priscilla Mar 24 2013, 00:32 AM

Winner

I have been growing this plant for years and have won many blue ribbons with it.

Roy Goebel Sep 23 2012, 09:14 AM

Wow Factor!

Rather new to my collection and it is already exceeding my expectation! Colorful, bright double blue flowers that add quite a bit of cheer to my light shelves!!! This one is an inspiration to grow more trailers!

Ethel Schnorr Sep 17 2012, 23:45 PM

Spectacular Waga Waga

Rob's Wagga Wagga trailing violet is one of my favorites. It blooms at an early stage and keeps on blooming until it is a mass of eye-catching double blue blooms. A few of the blooms are trimmed with white tips. Whenever someone selects one of my violets to keep; Wagga Wagga is almost always the one they pick.

Linda Seddon Jul 25 2012, 13:00 PM

Perfect trailing violet

This violet has been growing in my terrarium for several months. I divided it recently, and both plants are doing great! I don't remember a time when it was not in bloom!

Meg Pearce Jan 02 2012, 16:00 PM

Wonderful

I have a couple of these now. They are nice and bright, easy to see in my terrarium. They have been blooming ever since I got them!
